To conclude, in her tale The Wife of Bath is trying to change how women are being represented by men. We first see this by her appearance and social status as she is a middle aged women who is very successful as a merchant. She also has become very knowledgeable due to her multiple marriages. Through a violent confrontation with Jankyn. She successful destroy one piece of evidence that prevent women being looked at negatively. But, she is not done yet as she uses her tale to truly switch the roles and showcase men in a negative aspect.
