Psychology interests me in a profound way. I love exploring the complexity of the human brain and how subtle differences and changes manifest themselves in observable behaviours. I am mostly interested in psychopathology and particularly how they can be explained in a multitude of ways. The well-known Rosenhan’s Experiment (Sane in Insane Places) was one of the studies in psychology which developed my passion for the subject further. The very idea that Psychiatrists could be so consistently wrong and unable to identify who is sane and who is not, demonstrated that our understanding of Psychopathology has still got some way; I am excited to be a part of the community which continues to develop that understanding.
