James had said he's going to be home at five and its six what has happened to my brother I thought worriedly . Mia mama she yelled. What I said back not knowing what was going on she ran to me. Where is your brother. He not home wet , and then I sawl it what she was worried about a huge cloud of sand coming toward us , I was scared mama said to me wish your brother is in side. We closed all the windows and locked the doors , we put chairs in front of doors and put towels under any cracks we found. I admit i was scared.

It was the year 1932 when the storms hit my town of Perryton Texas. Are crops died never again I wanted to see the same storm again. I wish the storms never come again , after things got worse the wish never worked it never did the storms got worse as weeks went on. Then m mama I said scared. I'm right here she said trying to be calm I want to have papa back I said crying. I do too we sat in the middle of the room together thinking about my father and my brother hoping to have hope that he's safe. I also have bad news said Mrs. Sandy said are house was torn down by that horrible storm and if they could stay at are house. Mama said yes and that's how I knew at that moment we needed a new home.
