The Warren Commission was official commission established by President Lyndon B Johnson to investigate the assassination of President John F Kennedy by Lee Harvey Oswald on November 22, 1963. President Lyndon B Johnson appointed the commission to investigate how and why he was killed. He demanded the commission to have included the attendance, testimony of witnesses and also the production of evidence which occurred on the 22nd of November, 1963. The official final report is 889 pages long and was presented to Lyndon B Johnson on September 24th, 1964. The report of the Warren Commission clearly demonstrates some strengths in the proofing of how Kennedy was assassinated but in its early stages has failed to meet some points that only un interrupted proof can show. Although the commission does show strengths its weaknesses are clearly displayed throughout their report.
Some strength’s displayed by the Warren Commission can be viewed throughout its report. The fact that the commission did indeed use the correct forms of fingerprinting and ballistics analysis shows that they were determined to conclude that Lee Harvey Oswald fired the fatal shots that killed President Kennedy. The Warren Commission also analysed psychological behaviour of Lee Harvey Oswald to conclude that his behaviours and reactions after the shooting was very suspicious. Although this was one of their strong points, they also have lack of proof, which was visible on the day of the assassination, which would have been vital in the steps to inevitably find that Oswald killed the president with 3 shots fired by him.
