Brin states how the cyborg would see Jason with disgust because he had limits. In my opinion, this message spoke to many readers because many times we are limit to do what we want to accomplish because our government. Our government has overpowered many citizens in today’s country, due to the reason that they don’t want us to overthink their actions. We have been placed in a position where we need to obey out governs, if not there will be consequences. I think that this has been going on because as we learned in class, the government doesn't want to be question. The government has always kept many of the decisions to themselves instead of sharing it with the citizens. In my opinion, this is because they are afraid that the citizens are not as dumb as they think and that will figure out the reasons why the government has done all different types of choices. As Brin mention, the cyborg thought Jason wasn’t capable of anything, until he saved them and contacted the Lightprobe Nine. Just as the cyborg thought this, out government think that citizens are limited and can’t decided for themselves. The government does not want citizens to outsmart them and realize all that they being taking action on. For these reason, the government has tried from many years now to maintain themselves from the population, because they are afraid some random citizen
