Along with novels Orwell also wrote a monthly “London Letter” for the American Magazine Partisan Review; in1942 he began targeting pacifism, stirring up controversy and spawned a number of replies from die-hard pacifists. Orwell’s ideology of “How can one respond nonviolently to genuinely evil people, such as hitler, who will use violence to further their own agendas and who will never respond to nonviolent persuasion?” (508) resonates with the oppositional by making the idea more tangible. Today, the team behind Planned Parenthood is finding new ways to reach even more people. This morning, Planned Parenthood is cutting the ribbon for a new health center in Milwaukie, oregon. This afternoon, the wheels are moving to putting up the walls in a new health center being built in New Orleans. Today, transgender patients are getting services at Planned Parenthood health center in denver, which just started offering them. This is not a lone effort, Planned Parenthood formed a new partnership with Junto Health, a frontrunner in health care technology and innovation that can add another gear to the system to work with to find more ways to reach patients quickly and …show more content…
On Pink Out Day more than a million volunteers gathered to unite at more than 200 volunteer-led events throughout the country. Supporters of the cause were also encouraged to wear pink clothes, pink their social media profiles, and use the #PinkOut hashtag. Along with the rallying of the masses, several members of Congress including Reps. Rosa DeLauro, Judy Chu, and Nita Lowey plan to provide more than 2 million petition signatures insisting their colleague lawmakers to desist from defunding Planned Parenthood. These cohesive movements all lead back to on central idea; it is a known fact exactly what Planned Parenthood does for millions of families in this country, we will not let those dedicated to terminate abortion access in this country swindle and deceive to slash millions of people off from high-quality preventive care.
