From the beginning of time women have had to live with the everyday struggles of being treated less than the other males that surround us. For longest time males have been the dominant money makers as women were confined to menial roles. The woman of the house was considered the cook, she was in charge of the cleaning, laundry, and being the caregiver to the children. We women were simply unable to vote or voice any opinion whatsoever. As time has passed, however, we have evolved in the subject of gender equality in many ways. In the past couple years the subject of gender equality payment has blown up. Once the subject was brought to my attention, I began to realize the wage gap between men and women.
