Beginning in 1940, the movement to replace stenographers with sound recording equipment had just begun. The initial outcome was not effective until late 1942, when the technique had been perfected. In the mid-1970s, DJs began their careers in neighborhood parties, dance clubs, and public spaces. They recruited MCs (master of ceremonies) to keep the crowd energized and over time they would rhyme over the music. Kool Herc adapted "the technique of “mixing” between two turntables to create smooth transitions between records to the hip-hop aesthetic"(439). The process of ‘beat juggling’ uses the breaks between two records that are exactly the same. DJ Q-Bert, who never stopped learning new styles from his mentors, as well as on his own, mainly founded this process. The two records themselves are exactly the same. To put it another way, if DJ Q-Bert were using Record Sample A on one side, the left, of the turntable, he would also place Record Sample A on the other side, the right, of the turntable. In a moment, the DJs uses the fader, which is practically an on or off switch between the records, on the turntable to switch back and forth between the two records they have selected.…

Many films were created as propaganda to belittle the Jews and to promote the strength of the Aryan race whom Hitler praised. One such film was The Eternal Jew (1940), which showed Jews as being horrible people who were consumed with the idea of sex and money. This use of propaganda was successful in promoting the Nazi message and brainwashed many people into believing in the same ideals. As well as propaganda, Hitler censored the press in Germany to assure that everything he wanted the Germans to see, like the propaganda, were being seen and that nothing negative about the Nazi Party or himself was being viewed instead. This, along with Hitler’s military forces, kept people from opposing Hitler and made it much easier for him to rise to power and stay in power when he got there (United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, 2016).…

It is well known that Adolf Hitler is a master of persuasion and in his Reichstag speech of December 11, 1941, he shows why. In this speech he gives reasons for the outbreak of war in September 1939, explains why he decided to attack the Soviet Union in June 1941, and announces that Germany was now in a war against the United States. Throughout this speech, he was able to maintain an air of righteousness while successfully manipulating his people into fighting for him. To accomplish this task, he cunningly uses a persuasive format for organizing his points, tone, and rhetoric devices, such as pathos, false dilemmas, and ethos, to gain support and loyalty of the German nation and maintain it.…
