Society has suffered due to the violence that has abruptly conspired out of a rage of pure hatefulness; such emotions have tragically impacted a community. This unexpected event took place at the local down town mall of San Bernardino a place where people have gone for many years to shop for necessity with family members. This event demonstrates a reminder on how fast life can change for many. That is why it is important that we must start introducing children to get past the differences that create violence and move forward to a united or at least a better understanding to what can cause the outburst of violence among people. Therefore if we would have an ideal democratic school we would have to show the students the awareness of what violence is and what are the affects it can have. We must show and advocate respect among a school that is diverse based on peers and teachers. Another thing that can be advocated can be methods on how to solve issues that can lead to an escalation of anger causing violence. Together as a community we must establish what the word violence is which stands for a social and health problem for all who experience and witness it. Violence takes many forms, including: Family violence often referred to as domestic abuse, child abuse, child maltreatment, spouse abuse.
