The resolution in The Vinyl Princess, was atrocious because it was very confusing and awkward. One example of this is towards the end of the book, Allie and Zach, Your Berkeley Fan, finally meet but never officially become a couple. This was very upsetting, making a book about a girl trying to find love in a small run down place makes the reader want to see them be a couple. Yvonne also included awkward moments in their “dates”, for example she says, "'You got a blog figured out for tomorrow, Veep?' he asked. He calls me Veep now, short for Vinyl Princess.
