The Video Timbre: The Color Of Music

The video Timbre: The Color of Music, was a very interesting film with a lot of different beautiful music. When I reread the title it really sums up the film. The word color reminds me of a rainbow and how Timbre is somewhat like it as well. The cast in the film mention the word Timbre several times. Each mention what that meant to them in a different way. That is why Timbre reminds me of a rainbow because none of the responses to what Timbre was seemed wrong. Timbre to one person was an instrumental form or vocal. The best definition of timbre was by Ernest D Brown. He mentioned that timbre is tone quality. There is the basic note, but also overtone sounds that are generated. The combination gives each musical instrument its own sound. As
