Starting Video games have been around for quite a while. Video games have been around since the early 1970s. According to the article, How video game systems work, the first commercial arcade video game, Computer Space by Nutting Associates, was introduced in 1971. Although video games date way back, the Atari introduced Pong to the arcades. Nolan Bushnell founded Atari Inc. Nolan is described as the father of the videogame industry. In order for the designers to create a good and accurate character, they need more than just pencil and paper. Although sketching is the most important process, there are many programs for designing video game characters, and software’s available to the novice, and experienced game makers that allows them to bring to life their creations. Software packages for making video games generally include three categories: 3D games, 2D games and role-playing game software is different all together.
Furthermore, an example of software would be sketch book pro. Sketch book pro is a digital drawing and painting application that essential tool for artist, it doesn’t need fifty brushes and menu option to make good art and an advantage it provides is that it let the artist draw as much as possible as quick as possible. The software has a simple brush set up, awesome steady stroke tool, and incredibly helpful magnetic shape guiders, all of this allows the artist to create a well done design. Characters designers now have a variety of tools to utilize in order to design a character. Many special software’s exist, that makes the job of an artist easier.
