Take the new Smart Guard, designed by Prevent Biometrics, as an example. It’s a new technology that athletes of any sport can wear. It is used as a normal mouth guard, but with the added benefit of being able to detect concussions. With this, it can tell the wearer if they may have received a concussion, which they will then know to leave the game and visit a doctor who can then tell them if they truly have a concussion. Because of this, it will prevent a person from staying in the game longer than they should, thus preventing further damage to their
