Did you know this passage was written in the late 1900’s and the person that made the text had no idea that it would be our sad future.In “The Veldt” by Ray Bradbury the kids love the room more than the parents and the room is only listening to the kids. If you were to spend all of your free time in life with a room full of nothing real how would you feel? To start off, we are going to talk about the relationship between the parents and the kids. According to the story, the parents are locking up the nursery for the kids and the kids are begging them not to lock it. “You know how Peter is about that. When I punished him a month ago by locking it for just a few hours he lost his temper! And Wendy too. They live for the nursery.”(Bradbury, pg.3).

It matters because, this proves the fact that the children would rather be in the nursery surrounded by technology than living in the real world. And they begged them not to lock their nursery. Sometimes when I’m tired or not in the mood I would rather lay down in my room and my phone than be out in the living room with my family.
