Friends are very essential in your life; therefore, it is best to choose them very wisely. A true friend, or best friend is someone you can count on, someone who will stay by your side through thick and thin, and someone we can tell our problems to or even ask for advice. During the last couple of years, I realized that I had three different types of friends in my life. I realized that I had many acquaintances, a small number of mutual friends and few best friends. However, I could differentiate my acquaintances from my close friends and best friends. All three types of friends are essential to have, as each meet a different need in life. Acquaintances tend to be those types of friend that comes around when they need something or simply just a favor. They are occasional friends. Usually, acquaintances can be found at parties, school, work, church or even at the beauty salon. Anyone can tell their close or best friends when they are being very annoying, but not their acquaintances. It is very hard to tell an acquaintance that they are being very irritating because they come around occasionally. Sometimes an acquaintance can be useful in life. There might come a time when there is no one else to have lunch or breakfast
