John 10:25-38 In these passages God is claiming to be the shepherd in his descriptions. Jesus is claiming such a role for himself, but in a way unlike anything seen before by the people of theses time periods. He has stated here to have made clear claims of divinity and messiahship. He is incredibly bold in his statements and completely unafraid of the repercussions for the things he is saying because it is truth.
