The idea of American Dream all started back in 1931 when a guy named James Truslow Adams said, “That dream of a land in which life should be better and richer and fuller to every man, with opportunity for each according to his ability or achievement.” ( ). Many people today think the way to a happy life is about having a lot of money to buy things with and impress people with. People work a job that they hate just in order to be wealthy and look good in others eyes. Yes, they may work hard for the things they have, but are they truly happy?
