1- Self-esteem means the confidence in one’s own worth or abilities or self-respect. Your self-esteem can affect your personal or professional life because it is the key to peak performance. All most everything you do either increasing your feelings of self- esteem or self- value, and you are constantly protecting it from being diminished by other people or circumstances. By having good self-esteem you will take risk growing and improving your personal or professional life. You can accept failure and move on. By having low self-esteem you will not take risk in fear of being ridiculed or rejected. You may linger in depression or can’t move past events. department. It is a tool to make healthy food choices. The pyramid is a visual guide to show you what types of food you should eat. The bottom of the pyramid starts with grains, than vegetables, fruits, proteins, and fats. So you should eat more grains than anything else on the pyramid according to this pyramid. This pyramid can be used to guide you through eating for the day. I do not totally agree with the food pyramid. Every person body and activity level is different. If you do hard labor types of work than you may need a lot of grains for energy, but if you sit at a desk all day you do not need to consume so much grain. I would use this pyramid as a reference guide, not as one fit all guide. It helps you consume a variety of foods. We should not just eat the same thing every day. Bad stress make you fill overwhelmed and you can’t concentrate on anything. Stress affects everyone in different ways. Stress can be good if it motivates you to work hard, but bad stress causes anxiety and possible health problems. Stress is a burst of energy that tells you to do something like meeting daily challenges. Bad stress can be detrimental to us. It can stay around for weeks or months. Bad stress can weaken your immune system. Bad stress can cause high blood pressure, fatigue, depression, anxiety, and heart disease. There are signs of too much stress, such as inability to concentrate, getting sick more often, headaches, changes in appetite, and anger. Stress is part of life and you can only change the way you respond to stress or avoid stressful situations. Exercising, relaxing, time managing, and being realistic can all help reduce stress. Knowing the triggers of stress can also help you to avoid situations that cause you stress. I handle stress by exercising on a daily basis because it relaxes me and takes my mind off daily tasks. I also get a good amount of sleep every night. Being exhausted can’t make daily tasks very difficult to accomplish. Your body needs the sleep to rebuild energy.
