I’ve been here in America for about 15 years now and though I am still very attached to my culture, I have learned and adopted some of the American ways. One of the is the value of time. It is true that many other cultures view time differently. In the Philippines, from what I remember, life was slower. I can’t recall a time when someone had to complain about how busy they were. Chasing the clock is something that rarely, almost never happens there. Life here on the other hand is very different. I wish the days are longer. As unsafe as it is, I have to admit that I have ate cereal while driving, brush my teeth while driving, and even do make-up while driving.
