What is the purpose of the Valley Project?
Answer: The Valley Project is an archive of original documents throughout the civil war of “residents in Augusta County, Virginia, and Franklin County, Pennsylvania.” The Valley Project is dedicated to, in its own words, “detail life in two American communities, one North and one South, from the time of John Brown's Raid through the Age of Reconstruction.”
