The VINE System: The Victim Information Notification

Christine gave prominence to the VINE system which has helped victims feel control of their own lives and remedy for post conviction. VINE is referred to as the Victim Information Notification Every day. It mainly informs the victim about the offender such as if they are in custody or any criminal case information, that also has a toll free line open for 24 hours a day. Christine mentions that Victim Assistance Programs in the Prosecutors officers have been extremely helpful, and shows dedication in helping victims. She goes on to point out the significance of the Victims of Crime Compensation Board (VCCB), which have compensated victims with dental, medical, loss of earnings, burials or other financial
