The under developed district in Uttarakhand face major problems related to unhygienic health conditions which is prevalent in these area like Chamoli, Haridwar, Garwal, Udham singh Nagar, Uttarkashi, Pithoragarh, Champawat, Bageshwar, Rudraprayag and Teri Garwal The condition of the women is most vulnerable in these region specially women who are pregnant. It was found by the researcher during the interview of the Anganwaadi worker that the government has taken initiative of organizing the health camps in the blocks so that the villagers are not denied of the basic amenities. It was suggested that he health camps will be taking place on a bi monthly basis in each block of the district. The health workers working in the blocks found these c amps to be effective for the beneficiaries.
