Napalm has been one of the most controversial and destructive war weapons that has been used in modern times, with little international political restriction, although the use of napalm is morally wrong in many people 's minds. The use of this weapon dates back to World War ll, with its development in a highly classified lab at Harvard University. Napalm saw its first widespread use in the burning of Japanese cities during the end of the war in the Pacific. This chemical was rather a multifunctional weapon, with it being able to be dropped from air, or used on the ground by tanks and flamethrower troops.
