Many important life-changing decisions in my life have been made by others. As I have matured and gained more freedom, it is now time for me to make a life-changing decision of my own. The time to make the decision of which university I will choose to attend is rapidly approaching. This decision will change the entire course of my life by dictating the people I will meet, the knowledge I will learn, the disciplines I will instill in myself, and my future occupation. Both the University of Toledo and the University of Cincinnati have many enticing possibilities and few deterrents, currently, the University of Toledo looks like a better fit for me because it provides a quality education that will bring many future opportunities, an affordable …show more content…
Both universities offer the same program I am interested in. The programs at both colleges also have quality co-op learning experiences that would enrich my learning and provide me with real life experience. The base tuition rate of $9,000 a year at the University of Toledo is about $2,000 less expensive than the $11,000 a year tuition at Cincinnati. Toledo offers $6,500 in scholarships immediately upon my enrollment and an opportunity to earn more scholarships within the college of engineering while Cincinnati has no automatic scholarships but has opportunities for generous scholarships upon further application and selection. The location of the University of Toledo is preferable to the location of the University of Cincinnati. Both universities are located in metropolitan areas with ample restaurants, shopping areas, parks, and recreational activities nearby. Toledo is over two hours closer to home than Cincinnati. The closer proximity to home will allow me to more easily visit and spend time with my family. I have visited the Honors Academic Village at the University of Toledo and enjoy the atmosphere and living area there. I would be able to quickly feel at home within this living area. I prefer the housing I would stay in at Toledo to the housing at Cincinnati. The decision of where to attend college will affect the rest of my life in many ways; after comparing universities, I believe that the University of Toledo is the place that will be more fitting and advantageous to my future

Come spring of senior year and many seniors are faced with a tough decision whether they should attend community college or a four year university. When choosing between colleges people should be looking at the colleges that suit them academically, personally, and financially. According to the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, with more than 2.1 million students on 113 campuses, the California Community College is the largest system of higher education and it’s growing more and more each year. Although community colleges and four year universities may share the same purpose, community college appears to be much more affordable, the classes are smaller, and it’s very flexible with a student’s schedule. College tuition is getting increasingly expensive each year which is why many students choose to attend…

The concept of a manager has always seemed to me as someone who possesses the ability to create a structure that allows certain goals to be obtained.
