It is the brutally killing of a person’s soul without killing the person himself. It breaks the strongest of the wills and manipulates them. Over time slaveholders have developed the process of breaking a slave, a technique used for taming and subduing blacks to behave like a perfect slave. This process is similar to the practice of taming a wild animal. The process is designed to enslave the mind of a colored man making him easier to control physically and having the colored woman raise her children to be as pliable as the slave owners want them to be. If the process is done correctly it would create an endless supply of easy to control slaves, which goes on every single generation without stopping. We also need to try to help all the slaves who are trying to escape from the South to the North. What we really need to do is to try to get rid of slavery. Slavery needs to come to an end. It’s an inhumane way of life which teaches our kids to base their judgment solely on looks. As James Madison once said, “No nation could preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare.” This implies that if we all are too busy fighting amongst ourselves, we leave our nation vulnerable to our enemies. We have to remember that a house divided against itself cannot stand. What we need to do is to change our negative way of life. We have to be more superior than the last generation. We have to correct the ways of our
