Domestic policy is a broad area of public policy, which deals with laws, government programs, and administrative decisions which are directly related to all things that directly affect the people in its own country ("Cambridge Dictionaries Online (US)"). I will be analyzing the three presidents: Lyndon B. Johnson, Ronald Reagan, and Bill Clinton, on the basis of how strong or limited they were on their domestic policies.

A more pluralistic approach shows how the presidency is affected by all actors in government and how his power is changed by those relationships. It changes the general view of ‘top-down’ perception (always from the president’s perspective), instead of the American Political system. A Strong president is able to personal skills to persuade outside actors in order to advance the administration’s goals. He didn’t really do as much as the other presidents, although he was a great communicator on getting his economic policies pass, he didn’t use his skills to get any other domestic policies passed. Reagan also didn’t bother on using his formal legal powers to pass anything, besides economic policies. The middle president is Bill Clinton, because he focused on more domestic policies than the limited president, and made the effort to do more. He is limited to the strong president, because his abilities to persuade Congress and other political actors was weaker compared to the strong president. Lyndon B. Johnson is the strong president in domestic policy. He addresses several issues using his legal powers, like the economy, poverty, civil rights, and health-care. The Johnson Treatment is a strong Political Power skill that he used effectively in getting legislation passed. Therefore, Johnson is the strongest of them all, because he uses each perspective
