According the the article “about 73,000 Coloradans could be getting paid more after a new law concerning overtime hours takes effect.” If the employee makes less than $47,476 per year they will be compensated for overtime with this new law. This relates to business because the employer is now forced to pay some of their employees more, resulting in higher expenses.6 That last agency I will cover today is the EEOC. The EEOC is suing Frontier Hot-Dip for failing to correct the complainants of harassment, against black people, who work for the business. Frontier Hot-Dip was aware of the complaints but choose to ignore them, that is why the EEOC had to step in to protect the employees.
