Kennedy and Khrushchev came to an agreement as long as the U.S. stuck to their word and did not invade Cuba would do no harm was going to be done. This incident did cause a lot of problems but not only to the U.S. but other places as well. Trust had been broken and rivalries were brought upon each other.
