During the dates of November 30th – December 11th, 2015 the United Nations Climate Change Conference took place in Le Bourget, Paris. This conference main priority is to address the issues of global climate change, and to construct a draft report on how to deal with these issues. One of the main focuses of the conference is, “To hold the increase in the global average temperature [below 1.5 °C] [or] [well below 2.0°C] above preindustrial levels by ensuring deep reductions in global greenhouse gas [net] emissions.” (Sustainable Innovation Forum, 2015). Political leaders can develop policies that can help control the amount of greenhouse gases. For example, before the Paris Summit Barack Obama passed regulations in the United States to reduce the carbon emissions, as part of the Clean Power Plan which is a commitment in Paris. This plan is projected to reduce the amount of carbon emissions by a minimum of 25%. Policies such as this one can be put into place by the political leaders of countries, which would help reduce the rising of the Earth’s temperature. The best place to implement these polices would be in the commercial goods sector. Companies are always trying to find the cheapest way to accomplish a task, and an example can be seen in the Frank article. “Raced to the bottom of the price chain, as they looked to profit by buying the most inexpensive beans they could find.” (Frank, 2001). If the companies have the cheapest supplies, they will try to cut cost by making their process more efficient, therefore
