Ah, good old Christmas, time for cheer and listening to "Jingle Bells" blaring through the radio in every store and the convivial event of lights and large Christmas trees overwhelming the surroundings. Christmas brings such a lovely, warm feeling that 's difficult to describe. The vibe of the holiday just makes me feel jovial. I adore Christmas, well the idea of it. I watch "Home Alone" all through December because I envy Kevin 's huge family. The dilemma that I 've never had a big family stood in my way. I live with my mom and step dad, and my step siblings live in Miami and have their own families to celebrate Christmas with. My grandparents live in Russia and don 't celebrate any American holidays. My family has never put an importance on holidays. We don 't make a turkey or pie for Thanksgiving and we rarely decorate our house except for a Christmas tree. We don 't have friends or any family to invite to our house to have a big celebration, but anything would 've sufficed. Sometimes I have to be reminded on Christmas Day because we never do anything. I took off my flour-covered apron and slipped into the outfit. I checked my curled hair to make sure it looked alright and walked out to the dining room. The amazing sight of my whole family, including my mom, sisters, brother, nieces and nephews, all seated, delighted me.
