My three pieces focus on femininity and sexuality, “The Undeniable Ecstasy of the Female Body (Series),” have been inspired by the oversexualized female body, as seen specifically in the “sexy lady motorcycle decals” often presented in a black background and white subject. I wanted to desexualize the female body by including only a recognizable outline with the subject being “painted” using the fluid painting technique. Through my art I have always expressed that a female’s sexuality should not be frowned upon, and thus I attempt to alter the perception from being “women having sex are whores” to “sex is a natural occurence and should be celebrated as such.” Throughout the years, I have seen acrylic dripping becoming increasingly popular however,
