Interpersonal perception is the process by which you decide what people are like and give meaning to their actions, and the process consisted of three stages.
The first stage is selecting, which we select certain sensations to focus awareness on.
The second stage is organizing, which we assemble stimuli into convenient and efficient patterns.
The third stage is interpreting, which we assign meaning to what we have observed.

In contrast, theory of casual attribution focuses on the cause of a person’s behavior and circumstances. For example, suppose someone walks out of a local movie theater in the middle of the movie, “why did that person get up from his seat?” “Was he uncomfortable?” “Was he angry or insulted by the movie?”

I believe judging others in the view of someone’s social position of their cultural background are parts of the tendency to perceive or judge others inaccurately. When people stereotype others and overgeneralize or treat small amounts of information about others, lead people to draw inaccurate and prejudicial conclusions.

My grandfather was a sickly man and couldn’t appear at some places without some form of medical help and I interpreted as someone who let me down when I really wanted him to appear at a celebration that was important to me. But before I got angry, I heard from my grandmother that he passed away and it made perfect sense. By this realization, I was using the casual attribution theory which consists of identifying the cause of a person’s actions such as “why did my grandpa not came to my birthday party?” because he passed away the day before.

I had a communication exchange discussing on the topic of what makes a fan with one of my friends on a social media site. We continue to exchange more and more while speaking about this in a messaging environment. The information about the topic was very passionate and had myself in interest to the point of researching more towards the topic.
