The ulterior motive of this paper is to discuss how the Renaissance altered the view point man had on the world. The Renaissance era was one of tremendous modification in European archives. In the course of 500 CE to about the 1350s illiteracy was widely spread, among 85 percent of peasants; also referred to as serfs, relied on the bible to justify the world. Although art and literature existed pending the 1300s, they focused on Jesus Christ and the sins of mankind. In the 1300s, a movement called humanism was established, which praised the elegance and intelligence of an individual. As a repercussion of this movement more people became educated.
