“When everything feels like an uphill struggle, just think of the view from the top.” -Unknown. In our life there will be times when we all struggle, the way we overcome those struggles is by improving how we live our life. In the novel “The Wednesday Wars” by Gary d. Schmidt, Holling Hoodhood, the main character in the novel, has a struggle the first day back from “Christmas Break”. As Holling wanders down the hall he discovers that there are posters of him wearing yellow tights all over the school walls. Needless to say, Holling started his first day back being greeted by a smile on everybody's face. These smiles however were not smiles of support but rather expressions of mockery due to the humiliating pictures
