Personal Narrative: God Is The Creator

Everyone wants to know the truth. In today’s society, it is rare to find an individual seeking out the truth for the creation of the world. It is taken for granted that the world has always existed. Considering the billions of people inhabiting the earth today, there are very few conversations that one hears being expressed about the truth of purpose and existence. The culture of society’s mindset today is usually enveloped with the question, “What’s in it for me?” People today are more self-centered than they were many centuries ago during the Renaissance period when individuals were looking more inwardly and towards themselves rather than looking towards God, who is the Creator of both heaven and earth. However, it is pivotal for me to demonstrate the love that Christ has for me through my work, family, and church functions. There may be some meaning that is discovered in these things; however, it is impossible for true meaning to be discovered apart from God, the Creator. It is certainly a possibility for an individual to find some fulfillment and satisfaction from their professional work, automobiles, and homes, but eventually, that person will discover emptiness, and a void, which these material things simply cannot fill.
