The Truth about Truman was was about a school website created by three unpopular students Zebby, Amr, and Brianna. the website was mainly for school information. Then, the website took a twist and turned into a school gossip website. All this just for a sorry. There was a couple connections between me and the book. For example, there was a time when me and my friends did not hangout with each other. This is like when the students in the story stop hanging out with each other but in the end they are all sorry. there was also parts of the story that made me laugh, like when Lilly threw the shoe at zebby. This happened when they found lilly in the tree house. The authors lesson of the story was dont cyber bully people it can cause lots of harm …show more content…
over all he is a good person. he took down a hate post on their website, and they promised never to, he seemed to have really cared about the bully problem.this is why i would want to be amr. if i was like any character i would probably be amr because he is caring, can use a computer.another thing that we have in common is we are not very popular at school.
This book does not remind me of any other books. this book is so well put together i don’t think any book can copy such a good idea in the first person point of view. this book use good settings and descriptions. This give the story depth, it can recreate the story in your mind. while i was reading this i could picture anything that happened in my mind. this this might mean the description is so well put together it creates a image in your head. The Truth about Truman was a great story, i would read it again for the joy of a good story i don’t like reading but the greatness of the story makes me want to read it. the way the book was put together make it such a good book i would recommend this to everyone who likes reading and drama. overall this book was one of the best that i have

Samuel Walker that details the events leading up the decision for the United States to drop the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II. Narrative-like descriptions of cabinet meetings, personal diary entries of important players, and first-hand accounts from soldiers in the war are all artfully pieced together to recreate the story of Truman’s decision, overturning many common misconceptions about the era and presenting new information. While Walker presents his own conclusions using the data he has compiled, he is careful to leave room for the reader to make his/her own inferences with the same data, and admits there are plenty of gaps in his information that could potentially…

Despite the plot which has been done before (most notably on television series "The Twilight Zone" and "The Prisoner"), "The Truman Show" manages to surprise and delight. The clever screenplay by "Gattaca" scripter Andrew Niccol plays up on the inherent phoniness of televised drama with a very sly and subversive sense of humor. The script is also engaging in its emotional dynamic of Truman having his world unraveled around him, and choosing between risking his own life for freedom, or to stay content in the world's most comfortable prison. However, unlike the bloated "Godzilla", "The Truman Show" ends too quickly without giving a chance to thoroughly explore the…

The film “Truman Show” reveals theme and tone by lighting, cinematography, and editing, and by the use of sound. By using lightning, cinematography and editing, the theme of this film - facing with fear can lead to the discovery of realization - and the bewildering tone is achieved. With the use of sound, the meaning of this theme is further achieved, and the audience questions the “realism” of the story. As the story develops in this film, it becomes obvious to the audience that Truman is on a 24/7 reality TV show.…
