In the story The Truth About Truman, Zebby and Amr create a website to speak the truth about Truman Middle School. However, milkandhoney uses the website as a way to take down Lilly Clarke. She runs away and Zebby and Amr find her in the tree house days later. Lilly realizes that milkandhoney is Trevor, and she knows why he did it. The connections that were made between the book and my life is that I was once bullied before as well. I was picked on when I was in elementary school; however I just learned to forget about it and just not pay attention to them anymore. Eventually, they stopped picking on me. This book made me cry a little bit because the part when Lilly ran away was sad. The reason she ran away was because she was being cyberbullied.

I think there is more to tell about the website and how it progressed with the bullying conversation. I think the most suprising part was when Lilly stopped being friends with Zebby and Amr because they were friends for so long. Then when sixth grade came along, Lilly stopped being friends with them. Zebby Bower reminds me of my mom. This is because my mom is not afraid to speak her mind just like Zebby. I am like Amr in a way. We do not like to do anything that is going to hurt someone’s feelings. Also, we both like computers. I think me and Amr could talk about computers and what kinds of things we do on them. The movie that reminds me of this book is Mean Girls. In the movie Mean Girls, Janis and Damian try to warn Cady not to hang out with the popular girls. The Plastics ,which are led by Regina George, take interest in Cady and invite her to sit with them at lunch. This movie reminds me of Hayley and her friends. I liked the story because it was suspenseful. I was trying to figure out who milkandhoney was the whole time reading the book. Then with all the websites and the picture, people started making fun of Lilly. In the end, Lilly realized who milkandhoney was and she went to apologize to him for what she told him.
