Trump clearly states all the issues about China trade reforms and gives clear solutions. Although his word choice is not particularly good in some places of the article, he still manages to sweep away the audience with his word choices . His tone is meant for many people not just a particular audience. He uses a positive tone so he can connect with his innocent less political audience. But then he also uses an aggressive tone so he doesn't seem to innocent/humble. He doesn't want to seem too humble because that can often look like a weakness in a president in many people's eyes; especially many political people. Political journalist, Fred Barnes, in his journal, “Trump Gains When He Stays in the Background”, analyzes Trump’s pattern to gaining in the polls. Barnes’ purpose is to indicate what causes Trump to fall behind Clinton in the polls and then how he redeems himself to get ahead of her again. He adopts an unbiased tone in order to appeal to both sides in his adult readers. Barnes’ uses dashes, talks about how Trump falls behind and gets back up again in each paragraph in order to illustrate what pattern could help Trump win the presidency over Clinton, and uses syntax. Barnes begins his writing by acknowledging that when Trump is in the spotlight of the media, he falls behind in the polls and it’s when he stays in the background that he pulls through it.…

He covers topics such as education, tax codes, foreign policy, immigration, infrastructure, and many other American issues.. Donald Trump wrote his book in great detail, but also had a sense of humor in his writing. I cannot count the amount of times he repeated ‘potholes are what is bringing America down.’ I am not sure if this was supposed to be funny, but I found it funny.…

There are many similarities and differences between the two prominent far-right parties in France and the United Kingdom. Immigration reform, Euroscepticism, long-term leadership, and dramatic recent European election success are the most significant ties between the two, and stances with Russia, success in local elections, election structure, and historical background being the most significant differences. Who their supporters are and what the parties are pushing link the two as well but are to be expected in nearly any party that would be considered “far-right.” All of these factors that compare the similarities and differences in the two parties are the reasons why they have been successful, each in their own way but in recent elections,…

In his book “Listen Liberal or Whatever Happened to the Party of the People” Thomas Frank explores the last century of the Democratic Party in America. Being a liberal himself, Frank gives an insider view to the democratic party and its failures. I commend him for tackling this feat because most people would not be able to do the same about their respective party. I agree with a lot of things that have been brought to light in this book, such as the abandonment of the blue collar middle class for the white collar “professional class”, that the Democratic Party does not practice what it preaches , and that the leadership of the Democratic Party is not bothered by inequality as much as they project to be . These are all things that the Republican…

The slogan that propelled Donald Trump into his influence across the nation, “make America great again,” shows that Trump sees America has fallen downhill and has hopes to improve it. Trump wants to see this country go back to the prosperous country it once was, but he does not know how to filter his words according to most, which makes him seem frightening. Despite Clinton’s accusation about the risk of Donald Trump, his clever use of scare tactics gives voters a sense of security because of his ideas concerning immigration and terrorism. According to Molly Ball, author of “Donald Trump and the Politics of Fear,” Donald Trump uses fear to his advantage in hopes of winning the presidential election.…

China is one of the leading forces in our global market. It is more than likely at some point Americans will have to conduct business with the Chinese. It is important to understand the cultural differences, different values, and proper etiquette when conducting business in China as an American or it can result in a loss of a potential market that would have been beneficial to the American economy. According to Graham & Lam (2003) “The root cause: a failure on the American side to understand the much broader context of Chinese culture and values, a problem that too often leaves Western negotiators both flummoxed and flailing” (p. 71). This suggests that Americans can solve the main reason for loosing potential business partners in China by…
