We are able to now tell the story of Anne because of what Miep Gies has done. Meip saved Anne’s diary and many different writings and gave them to Mr. Frank when she knew that Anne wouldn’t be coming back (488). She insisted on having Mr. Frank reading the papers and then decide what he should then do. After reading and editing Anne’s writings Mr. Frank decided to act on Anne’s will and publish the diary. Meip had done something so kind and and thoughtful that only now we think of it as an astonishing quality.
Most people go through torturous pain, but only a hero can rise back up. Technically every Jewish person that has went through the holocaust is a hero.
