The True Culprit of Suicide Who responsible for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, two young lovers that take their own lives, that is the question I must answer. Their bodies have been found in the Capulet Mausoleum along with the dead count Paris the fiancé of Juliet. Juliet heir of the Capulets, was mispronounced dead three days prior to these events. Many look to Paris or the Prince of Verona for blame, but I have a different theory. The true cause of the young lover’s tragic demise was far closer to the victims’ hearts. The individuals most at fault for Romeo and Juilet’s death are none other than themselves, their parents, and their dear companion Friar Laurence.
