When they are defaced by natives the threat of rudimental rights can begin to become nothing more than a simple thought. Contrary to credence, America is the land of the free, and the home of the brave. To keep that prevalent ideal alive, American citizens strive to be the best for their country that they can possibly be. One of the best ways to do so is by acting as a true American. However, not a single person inside this country or out has the same notions as to what genuinely being an American designates. The definition of a true American is different for all individuals and is never set in stone. One can transmute their ideals of what makes a true American at any time or any place. In order to get a better understanding on what being American betokens, newcomers to the country as well as natives must strive to better themselves, their country, and to follow their personal American Dream. Some of these arguments include, the white race becoming the minority, American culture dissipating, immigrants taking more benefits than they pay into the system. Each of these arguments can be debunked by the simple fact that everyone has their own rudimentary rights. Just because someone is not of the white race or does not verbalize language does not mean they should face the amount of execration that causes them to lose self-respect and dignity.
