The Spread Of Communism And The Cold War

UFO’s are flying around invading the world trying to take over. Imagine how you would feel if this was happening in real life. People would be forced to do what they say when they say it. They would practically be human robots always being told what to do and if you broke one law and or tried to fight back you could be executed. This is what Communism was like. In 1946 The Soviet Union was trying to spread it’s communism all throughout the world and when the United States tried to step in it to stop it, it caused the Cold War to start. Soon domestic policies were set into place. The domestic policies were very reasonable. The Cold War started when the Soviet Union tried to spread communism to other countries. The Cold War a world wide rivalry between the United States and the Soviet Union. Communism is a government type that has total control over the people of the country. The ‘’Duck and Cover” policy was a precaution of personal protection against a nuclear explosion. The audience of this drill was to inform the daily children of the US. Kids were taught that if they see bright lights and a siren to immediately drop the floor and cover your head with your hands. The United States practiced this drill in schools in case of emergencies happening. Even tho ducking isn’t gonna protect you from an atomic bomb it gave everyone hope.
