Bullying targeted towards the youth in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered (LGBT) community is a serious problem that is often overlooked. There is discrimination and bullying toward LGBT youth found in all sorts of settings including the home, work, and school. Many LGBT teens experience abuse at home and even being kicked out of their house. Finding a job is sometimes harder as their sexual orientation is unwelcomed by employers and fellow colleagues. LGBT youth also endure harassment and bullying at school facilities. Many religious and political groups fight to keep the rights of these teens restricted and try finding ways around anti-bullying laws to protect their right to discriminate. These negative actions can lead to depression, suicide, and drug abuse among LGBT youth. It is important for family members, teacher, and friends to take action and against discrimination for the well-being of LGBT youth. It was founded in 1998 by the creators of the film TREVOR, an Academy-award winning short film. It provides services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth, ages thirteen to twenty-four. The Trevor Project saves lives of teens every day. Those in need of help can choose from a variety of options including text messaging, phone call, and instant messaging. All of the services offered are free and confidential. The Trevor Project also has the biggest safe social networking center for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, and Questioning (LGBTQ) youth. The organization includes some of the best educational training on suicide prevention practice and contains very helpful resources for teens (“About the Trevor
