“The Treasure of Lemon Brown”by Walter Dean Myers,is a story about a homeless man named Lemon Brown who teaches a boy named Greg the real meaning of treasure.Greg learns that a treasure does not have to be something of monetary value.The value of something is highly personal and only its owner can ever appreciate its real worth and pass it on to others.
Greg’s father has a few things that he values such as his son’s education and his postal service job.
