The transformation of television over the past century has been a noteworthy for researchers, broadcast companies, advertisers and viewers to watch. Watching television is an ingrained routine such as household activities like cleaning or cooking No longer known as a ‘box’ that families would surround to watch a program, it has cultivated new forms of interactions, viewer engagement, and technologies. Introduced in the 1950’s, it was a commodity that brought families together creating a ‘ middle-class suburbia ideal’ (source).
