Imagine that you're a happy married man and have children, then the next thing you know you are drenched in the blood of that wife and those children that you loved dearly. That’s what happened to Hercules, and the beginning of his heroic story.
Heracles were known as the strongest man due to his father being Zeus and his incredible strength, he was also courageous and wanted to restore his honor for his wrong doings that he did not even do. Heracles were loved by the gods as every hero did in the end, even Hera, the one who despised him the most.

Then died, not on purpose, but accidently by his own poison. He killed a centaur that was attacking his wife, and killed the centaur with poisonous arrow, they took the blood for a love potion. Then when his wife put it on him, to keep him faithful, he died from the poisonous venom from his arrow(mythweb.com).
To conclude, Heracles did not go to the underworld, he instead started to rise, and saw the gods. They all allowed him to become a god, even Hera. Hera did not hate Heracles anymore, she saw a noble man, strong, fought for his honor, and all around, she saw a hero, who became a god(mythweb.com).
For everything that happened to Heracles, he stood above it all, and showed who he really was.
In conclusion, Heracles rightfully deserves to be a hero because he took the responsibility of his family's death, even though it was Hera’s fault, did everything asked of him, and restored his honor. Heracles did all of this to regain his honor, to show he was good. Heracles asked for a way to make up his wrong doings, and did. It was Hera's fault, not Heracles.
