Hamlet’s indecisiveness and inability to act made him incapable of committing suicide. There were many things that Hamlet had to consider when he thought about committing suicide. One thing that stopped Hamlet from committing suicide was the fact that it was forbidden and that it was seen as a sin.

Due to this flaw, Hamlet is unable to commit suicide, unable to kill Claudius, and it has cost him his life and the lives of others. When Hamlet began to think about ending his life, he couldn’t go through with it due to the fact that it was forbidden by his religion and he was afraid of what would become of him if he did go through with it. He was incapable of killing Claudius because he was uncertain of the ghost and King Hamlet’s murder which acted as an excuse for procrastination.
