This poem was a life time story told over generations and generations written by William Shakespeare, the poem is called “Romeo and Juliet.” This tragic love story is about two families going at war, the Montagues and the Capulets. One day the Capulets had a party and Romeo met Juliet. They knew they couldn’t be found with each other so they secretly got married but after the marriage everything went horribly wrong. The three events that is going to be explained is, Romeo going to the masked ball, Friar Lawrence marrying Romeo and Juliet and Tybalt and Romeo’s sword fight.

Mercutio and Benvolio were waiting for Romeo for the sword fight Tybalt, Tybalt came and looked for Romeo and Mercutio told him to wait. Romeo came and hugged Tybalt, Tybalt was confused and he didn’t know what was going on. Romeo told him that he won’t fight his brother-in-law. Tybalt thought Romeo was crazy, so when Romeo walked away, Tybalt pulled out his sword. Right after Tybalt pulled out his sword, Mercutio pulled out his sword to protect Romeo. Romeo said “Tybalt, Mercutio! The prince expressly hath forbidden dueling in Verona streets. Hold Tybalt! Good Mercutio!” They didn’t listen and kept dueling, when Romeo tried to stop Mercutio, Tybalt went ahead and stabbed Mercutio in the chest. Before he was dead, Mercutio said, “A plague o’ both your houses! They have made worms meat of me.” Romeo got mad he dueled Tybalt and stabbed him, he ran after he stabbed Tybalt. Prince Verona came in and Benvolio explained everything that has happened, the Capulets wanted Romeo dead but Prince Verona said, “And for that offense immediately we do exile him hence.” So Romeo was banished from
