The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, is to be one of the most famous tragic love stories ever written. We all may know how it ends, but who really caused this tragedy besides themselves? Of course all the characters mentioned in the play encouraged one conflict or another, but briefly mentioned was sweet Rosaline. She breaks Romeo’s heart ever so much, causing him to beg for her forgiveness. To do so, while reading a party guest list for a wandering servant, Romeo comes across Rosaline's name, and insists on attending his family's enemies party, the Capulets. The story went on misleading in the two “star crossed lovers” fate, but still Rosaline changed the main character's development, theme, and action. Romeo is introduced
