Even though she is not the one who has done anything to deserve such anguish, Juliet’s fatality is the implement by which suffering is inflicted on her family, the Capulets, for its angry and vengeful attitude towards the Montagues. One character, the Prince, even explicitly states this when he said, “See, what a scourge is laid upon your hate, / That heaven finds means to kill your joys with love.” (5.3). Clearly, the Prince blaming the deaths of Romeo and Juliet on the hatred of the families; however, he is also suggesting that the two families are being punished by a higher power. Prince also seems to address the irony in which the hatred was punished with love which adds to the thought that Juliet’s demise taught a very clear lesson about the downsides of hate. This theme was also clear when Juliet faked her passing, which resulted in misery. First to find her dead was the Nurse, who was cried out upon seeing what appeared to be Juliet’s dead body (4.5). Since she was basically Juliet’s mother figure the Nurse would be the one who spent the most time raising said Capulet girl. Finding the girl she considered to be her daughter dead is a very scarring and traumatic experience, making it clear that when she cried for help and wailed about Juliet’s death that she was shattered. It is very clear that once more, from her mother
